Control
The gypsy moth can be combated at the egg, larval (caterpillar) and adult moth stages. Egg masses, when discovered, should be burned or soaked in water or kerosene. Wrapping your trees with TreeHelp Bug Band prevents the caterpillars from reaching the foliage from the ground. It is recommended to wrap infested trees and any nearby unaffected trees to prevent spread. Once the moths have emerged, use a Gypsy Moth Trap to attract and kill male moths. To control gypsy moth infestations, use BTK
Biological Insecticide. |
